Celebrating our Nation - Day 2 Pizza Box Cookie Holder

Pizza Box 4th of July Series

Looking for a quick and simple treat holder for your 4th of July party?  Today I'm going to use the Butterfly Gala Bundle and the Butterfly Wishes stamp set.  How cute is this cookie box? Okay...you don't have to put cookies in it, it can be brownies or any other treat you want. My mind just automatically goes to cookies. LOL  This project is one you can whip up in minutes, and while not the traditional Red, White, and Blue patterns we all expect, your family and guests will not forget them!

Blessed 4th of July Card Series

This week I'm celebrating the Independence of this  great nation that I am so proud to call my home!  will be posting one project a day in honor of this holiday. My first card was created using a stamp set that most would not think about using to make a 4th of July card. But, I wanted to give you an outside of the box, project idea. I used the To a Wild Rose Bundle for this project. This stamp set is a DistINKtive® stamp. What is a DisINKtive stamp? Watch the video to learn all about them!

Aren't they a great addition to our already fabulous stamp sets?

Today's Tutorial:

Base: 5-1/2"x 8-1/2" Whisper White Thick cardstock

  3. 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Whisper White Thick cardstock
  4. 24" Blueberry Bushel 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon

Steps:

FREE Tutorial Thursday - Butterfly Wishes

Free Tutorial Thursday - June 27 2019

Welcome to FREE tutorial Thursday!

I am absolutely in LOVE with the new Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper and Butterfly Wishes Distinktive® stamps! This week's tutorial is an awesome example of #SimpleStamping. I needed a card to send to a very special friend, for a special occasion. I have been working a lot lately with the Pressed Petals DSP, and my mind immediately went to one sheet of it! And I knew what I wanted to make. I just love how realistic the flowers on this paper look. And the only work I had to do to use them was to cut a rectangle! How much easier can it get? LOL Of course, no card is complete without a little glimmer and shine on it!

FREE Tutorial Thursday! Floral Essence Peek-a-Boo Card

Welcome to FREE Tutorial Thursday!

This week I'm stepping away from the "traditional" style card design and giving you a little WOW factor. As much as I love tradition, sometimes I want something a little more exciting.

This card design gives me just that, while still keeping the project simple.

We will be using the Floral Essence Bundle for this project.

Floral Essence - Peek-a-Boo Free Tutorial Thursday June 21 2019

Layers:

1.) 4"x 5-1/4" Whisper White Card Stock

2.) 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper

3.) Perennial Flower Punch (2x's) in Rococo Rose Card Stock

4.) 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Rococo Rose Card Base

Steps:

1.) Using Rococo Rose Ink, stamp sentiment on Layer 2, and Flowers on Layer 3. The sentiment should be stamped half way down the Layer as shown.

2.) About halfway down on 5-1/8" side of Layer 2, use Snips to make a cut. Cut should be about 1-3/4" into center of Layer. Use bone folder to fold back paper at angles. Trim ends that hang over to make the folds flush with the edge of the paper. Adhere flaps down with Snail adhesive. Adhere to Layer 1.

3.) Adhere two pieces of Layer 3 together using a glue dot in the center and off-setting the two pieces to form the flower. Use bone folder to gently curl the leaves upward. Use a glue dot to adhere Layer 3 to Layer 1.

4.) Finish off with a Perennial Essence Floral Center in the middle of Layer 3.

I will post the blog winners on Sunday. Stay tuned! Be sure to leave a comment! You can't win, if you don't play!!!
