FREE Tutorial Thursday! Floral Essence Peek-a-Boo Card

Welcome to FREE Tutorial Thursday!

This week I'm stepping away from the "traditional" style card design and giving you a little WOW factor. As much as I love tradition, sometimes I want something a little more exciting.

This card design gives me just that, while still keeping the project simple.

We will be using the Floral Essence Bundle for this project.

Floral Essence - Peek-a-Boo Free Tutorial Thursday June 21 2019

Layers:

1.) 4"x 5-1/4" Whisper White Card Stock

2.) 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper

3.) Perennial Flower Punch (2x's) in Rococo Rose Card Stock

4.) 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Rococo Rose Card Base

Steps:

1.) Using Rococo Rose Ink, stamp sentiment on Layer 2, and Flowers on Layer 3. The sentiment should be stamped half way down the Layer as shown.

2.) About halfway down on 5-1/8" side of Layer 2, use Snips to make a cut. Cut should be about 1-3/4" into center of Layer. Use bone folder to fold back paper at angles. Trim ends that hang over to make the folds flush with the edge of the paper. Adhere flaps down with Snail adhesive. Adhere to Layer 1.

3.) Adhere two pieces of Layer 3 together using a glue dot in the center and off-setting the two pieces to form the flower. Use bone folder to gently curl the leaves upward. Use a glue dot to adhere Layer 3 to Layer 1.

4.) Finish off with a Perennial Essence Floral Center in the middle of Layer 3.

I will post the blog winners on Sunday. Stay tuned! Be sure to leave a comment! You can't win, if you don't play!!!
